The police officers completely blindsided them, because they had quite a surprise in store.

Their deployed son just got back home and stepped out of the police car.

Sometimes, these reunions are also kept a secret. The family and friends at home have no idea that their loved one will be back in their arms again soon, and these certainly are surprises of a lifetime.

Meet Kenneth Stahl, a private in the national guard who has served in the Middle-East.

He was mainly deployed in Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait for almost a year.

What Kenneth’s family didn’t know, is that he was actually already back home. He just got accepted into Fairmont State University, meaning he could finally return back to the United States.

The private wanted to surprise his parents and asked some help from the police force and one of his close friends, who managed to capture the entire moment on camera.

The video starts with some footage of the cop car, who is still driving behind Kenneth’s family.

Kenneth himself is hiding in the police cruiser and is getting ready for the surprise.

After a while, the police officers make the signal that Kenneth’s family should pull over.

When they’re both off the road, the two cars come to a standstill. Kenneth’s parents, Nancy and Richard, are incredibly nervous and figured that they must’ve done something wrong.

Kenneth’s mom suspected that they were speeding, but when the police officer approached the window, he told her they pulled them over for another reason entirely.

The cops told them the car they were driving was linked to a drug deal case, and they needed to get out of the car immediately.

Of course, it was just an excuse to get them out of their vehicle, but it was a pretty convincing one and it worked. The police officers stick to the story and talk to Nancy and Richard about the car, but then someone steps out of the police cruiser, an accomplice to the whole set-up.

Kenneth is waiting inside the car for the perfect moment to reveal himself, and the moment finally comes when Nancy and Richard get closer to the police car.

The man exits the car, still in army uniform, and his parents can’t believe what they’re seeing.

Mom immediately yells and grabs him in her arms, while dad Richard is staring at him in complete disbelief.
