Their antics are just so precious and adorable, and they recently met a new friend in their neighborhood who instantly became a part of their pack.

A picture of these pooches recently went viral on Instagram, and now the world simply can’t have enough of them.

As the name suggests, Great Danes are rather large dogs. While they may seem a little bit imposing, the reality is that they’re quite calm family dogs, with a very playful touch.

A lot of people consider them to be gentle giants, and they’re really good with children, too as they have a very protective personality.

Because of their size, Great Danes do need a lot of open space and plenty of food. While Great Danes will usually get along with human family members, getting along with other four-footers can sometimes be a hit or miss.

Once they get to know other dogs, however, they tend to open up. Just like Vito and Bambino did with their new four-footer friend!

Giuseppe, an absolutely adorable chocolate Labrador, moved into the neighborhood.

Of course, Vito and Bambino noticed their new neighbor and wanted to play around with him, but let’s just say that Giuseppe was a lot less vertically gifted than these two towering Great Danes.

Meeting each other and saying ‘hello’ in the first place proved to be quite a challenge. After all, the wall that was separating the two homes in their backyards was simply too high for Giuseppe.

Afton Tarin, the owner of Vito and Bambino, noticed how the neighbor’s dog tried to see what was on the other side plenty of times.

“He has tried many times to jump up and get a good whiff of his big doggy friends whenever we’re all outside,” she told The Dodo.

After a little while, Giuseppe’s owners also realized what was going on. Of course, they couldn’t just tear the wall down or get to meet the neighbors in these strange times of social distancing and staying at home as much as possible, but they had a simple yet effective idea.

“Giuseppe would furiously jump as high as he could and try to say hello. I would always say, ‘If you only had a step stool,’” Giuseppe’s owner Robert Carnes told the animal website.

And then it struck Robert – they actually had a perfect stepstool somewhere in the home.

“I had one of my kids go in and grab the stool,” he added.

Thanks to this simple stool, Giuseppe was finally able to meet his four-footer friends properly.

The two neighboring families got in touch with each other, and Robert sent the neighbors this absolutely adorable picture.

“My initial reaction was to bust up laughing,” Afton, mommy of Vito and Bambino, told. “Seeing his little feet fully extended and his tail all blurred out from wagging too fast, I couldn’t help it. So stinkin’ cute. It definitely gives you that feel-good feeling.”

Luckily, these three dogs don’t always have to meet across a wall. They now regularly go on walks together and love spending time with each other!

“The boys really enjoy each other,” Afton concluded. “It’s super nice having that sort of relationship with our next-door neighbors.”

How adorable!
