The singer loves to invite people on stage, and that often leads to some incredible moments.
This time, Urban invited Lauren Spencer on stage during a live concert.
She’s an eleven-year-old girl who seemed a bit shy at first.
She was definitely overwhelmed and thrilled at the same time to share the stage with her idol, let alone sing a song together.
That’s right – Urban invited her on stage to share a song to give this fan an incredible and unforgettable moment, but the rest of the audience loved it as well.
The audience was cheering both of them on, but they never expected the little girl to blow everyone’s minds.
Luckily, the live performance was being recorded, and Lauren later shared the amazing footage on her YouTube channel.
Lauren left the whole crowd in awe.
This was all well before the pandemic which is why the audience was absolutely packed.
The way she hits that first note shocks everyone, and even Keith Urban can’t help but look stunned about his singing partner.
The two then continue to deliver an absolutely amazing performance that left the crowd wanting more.
Lauren is now 16-years-old, and her music career is certainly starting to lift off.
Everyone expected that this little girl would go quite far in the music industry based on her duet with Keith Urban, and Lauren definitely did not disappoint.
The teen is widely popular on Instagram and even performed American Idol.
Because of her excellent performance on American Idol, Lauren is also quite the international superstar. You see, she’s actually Canadian, hailing from British Columbia.
She’s the first-ever contestant to make it in the Top 20 and beyond on the popular talent show. Even though Lauren did not win the show, she kept her head high and sees it as an opportunity to grow.
We definitely haven’t heard the last of her!
“I’m so appreciative of everyone who took the time to vote and tune into the show. Although some might say this is a huge disappointment it is a huge accomplishment for me and all of my friends who were part of the top 20! I’m so proud of us all,” she wrote on Instagram.
You could say her career started booming, all because Keith Urban decided to bring the then-11-year-old girl onto the stage.
