If you’re reading this article and you’re pregnant, then congratulations! Pregnancy is a magical, yet surreal time when the body changes in ways we couldn’t even imagine. From morning sickness to back pain, it’s not always going to be the easiest ride. But there are some things you can do to make things just that little bit easier for you, and as a pregnant woman, we’re sure you’re always searching for ways to be more comfortable.

This is where pregnancy pillows can help. A pregnancy pillow is designed to accommodate the contours of your body and provide support where it’s needed most. If you find nights the most difficult in terms of aches and pains, then a pregnancy pillow should help you to feel more comfortable and get better sleep.

The most common types of pregnancy pillow are C- and U- shaped that support your entire body, and with so many choices out there, it can feel overwhelming when trying to make a decision. Pregnancy pillows come in all different sizes, materials, firmness levels and prices, so it’s really about finding an option that works for you. We’ve put together a list of the best that are on sale at this very minute.

1. Best Overall Pregnancy Pillow: CoCozy Adjustable Maternity Pillow – CHECK PRICE

The CoCozy Adjustable Maternity Pillow is hands down the best pregnancy pillow on the market – the crème de la crème. We love that we can adjust the firmness and softness (with the changeable memory foam filling). In addition, there is a detachable extension that can (1) change the shape of the pillow to suit different sleep positions and (2) be used as its own pillow (so it’s really two pillows in one)!

Our favorite part of this pillow though has to be the luxurious bamboo cover that’s infused with silver – it’s silky soft, cooling, and antimicrobial, so it’s great for your skin. The silver infused cover also requires less washing, so it’s less of a hassle to take care of.

This pillow can adapt to you and your baby, and has all of the features to ensure that you get the best experience, comfort, and support from your pregnancy pillow. We love this pillow so much that we’d probably use it often even after the baby is born! (for both men and women!).

This pillow adjusts to you and your baby, and the cooling bamboo cover felt like a dream on our skin. If you want to experience an incredible pillow that will support you and your baby during your pregnancy (and beyond), look no further.

A C shaped pregnancy pillow is great for following the contours of your body in order to relieve back, neck and hip pain. This coyuchi gray jersey knit pillow has a premium cotton filling that provides ideal comfort levels for side sleeping. This latex pillow is even GOLS + GOTS certified (meaning the latex is made from only the highest quality natural latex rubber). We also like how latex is more springy than other materials.

Its flexible shape can also be adjusted for reading, watching a movie and playing games. In fact, this pillow isn’t just for pregnancy, and can be used by the whole family! You’ll find it hard to sleep without this pillow when you’re no longer pregnant.

Taking up little to no space, the Boppy Wedge Pillow provides you with a great night’s night’s sleep no matter where you are. The wedge can be used under your bump, legs, neck or back, so it perfect for targeting pain or discomfort in a specific area.

The soft cover can be removed and washed so you can get years of use out of this pillow!

4. Best Budget Pregnancy Pillow: Target Room Essentials Body Pillow – CHECK PRICE

While this pillow might not specifically be marketed for pregnant women, it’s a really great option for those who are looking for neck, back and belly support but don’t want to pay premium prices. You could pick up two of these pillows to use on your front and back for a less intrusive version of a pregnancy pillow.

This body pillow provides support for the hips, back, neck or tummy to allow you to have a better night’s sleep. We can only speak to our experience with this pillow (since it doesn’t have any reviews), but we found that the pillow was great to hug and sleep with. However, because of it’s traditional shape, it didn’t provide that much extra support or relieve pressure points in our back, neck, or hips.

Weight: 2.58 pounds

Dimensions: 52 x 20 x 7 inches

5. Best Pregnancy Pillow For Only Side Sleeping: Belly Bandit S.O.S. Side Sleeper Pregnancy Pillow – CHECK PRICE

Side sleepers rejoyce! If you’re looking for a minimally intrusive pillow that supports your bump and back at the same time, then this pillow is perfect for you. The two memory foam wedges will help you stay on your side while sleeping, providing the soft yet firm support for both of your baby bump and back.

With 2 detachable wedges, you also don’t need to adjust every time you switch side. You can also use this pillow when you’re postpartum to help you recover.

Things to watch out for:

  • Some mothers report getting cut by the velcro
  • Others complained that the pillow was a bit too small to support your back

There’s no denying the fact that this infatable pregnancy pillow is going to be taking up a LOT of your bed, but while it might not be for everyone, we think that this is perfect for people who can only fall asleep on their tummies. Not only is there a cutout on for your bump, but there’s also one for your bust and face as well, ensuring maximum comfort.

Not only is this pillow a bargain price, but it’s small enough to be taken with you wherever you travel. The best thing about Serta’s pillow has to be the cooling action provided by the gel inside the memory foam. Any pregnant woman will tell you that it’s easy to get hot and bothered when you’re trying to sleep- and this pillow will relieve all of those problems.

This pillow is a bit smaller than others and is not designed to provide your entire body support. It does tend to move out of place as well when you are sleeping, so that is something to keep in mind.
